They look great!
However, i suggest that you darken the colour of the stone brick (I assume it is) to a darker colour, so it resonates with the dark green colour of grass.
And the stone, along with the textures of the ore, looks a bit like tree logs to me. Perhaps you can decrease the cracks?
Keep making more textures and provide more screenshots of sample builds.
Since there are many realistic resource packs out there, try to make yours slightly different. Every resource pack has their inspirations and purpose.
Thats cobblestone actually and the stone is light because of the shaders and the sun angle, its acctually a bit darker, will see how i can tone them together a bit more

I think you should work on your style... this really has been done quite a lot and it almost always has blatant tiling issues and uncanny valley:
Because it takes A LOT of work to make a photorealistic texture that looks good AND tiles good, to the point where high-res pixel art might actually be easier if you're skilled with it and have the time.
And if you don't make your pack better, why should people use your pack instead of LB Photorealism? Update status isn't even really a thing because fans could make add-on updates especially since quality/aesthetics aren't really an issue with this 'style'.
You know, if you do continue the pack as it is now, you're going to get that a lot.
You may have seen me rant on cobblestone before (feel free to ignore after this if you have) , and I'm not sure if this was an intentional artistic choice... however many people make the mistake in assuming that bricks are a form of cobblestone, WHICH IS NOT TRUE. Bricks are setts, a different type of architecture. Cobblestone uses unprocessed stones (sometimes gathered from riverbeds so they are smoothed) and can be put in sand/dirt instead of using mortar.
IMO, turning cobblestone into bricks is a very illogical design choice because bricks already exist in the game (it was fine before that). It'd be like turning your wheat into carrots, even though carrots are also in the game. I've noticed some take this further, not just turning cobblestone into bricks but also turning stone into cobblestone... for some reason.

People do the cobblestone because of the way it looks on builds.
It's much better to put cobblestone like that, and you have more variety for builds available.
My god that villager scared me O.o I don't think ill ever do that to a villager xD\
While I agree there are a few Photo realistic packs out there, and there is no reason to use mine instead of the other ones (except they look different). And its impossible to make the textures without any tile issues (the loop will be visible at least) Im hoping that the look of the textures will make the pack stand out, not the style.
I have a different texture pack that has a unique style, this one I wanted to make for eye candy =] to be pretty and use shaders and normal maps to get that amazing feeling

Ehh, not really. Bricks are just... bricks. It's not really significant to variety, especially when it comes to distances. What I mentioned before (stone-->cobblestone, cobblestone-->brick) actually REMOVES 'smooth' stone, so that's less of an option. Plus, you change anything that was built with vanilla and remove the ability for users to have actual cobblestone builds (like old roads/castles/buildings that would have not been viable to build with setts at the time).
The main thing you're doing IMO is allowing yourself/your users to be lazy and not need to smelt+craft stone bricks.

That's kinda my point, this style isn't eye candy. I'm not much into other packs myself, but I'd say Triton or Lithos are... shaders and/or specular+bump+parallax mapping (if they exist?) will definitely help, and even more so if 3D models are included (not sure if those I mentioned have them without using add-ons) to make many of the elements in the game to not feel like paper.

I agree with Asherdoom. Maybe you can make the crystal ores, like diamond, emerald, redstone, gold and lapis lazuli more brighter and reflective, while iron and coal ores dark and non reflective.
Hello everyone.
I have been playing around and made a few photo realistic textures, resolutions from x64 to x1024.
What do you think? And would you like me to continue working on this to make it a downloadable pack?
Now lets get serious:
They look great!

Thanks, it will be a slow process since every texture requires a lot of work, but I will try and do more soon

Is this pack abandoned? If so, I'd very much like a download link to what you were able to complete.

Its not abandoned, it never was a pack, its a WIP project i'm working on, but sadly due to our server launching soon did not have time to work on it
More depth on some texture shadow details and lighting
