I know that there are some developers that want to create quests in their mods but to do so they have to make a whole system on their own before they can start making quests. Here is a solution: a premade system that allows you to easily create and register quests at will. This is still in development, and it is open sourced. Anybody can contribute to it. There is currently nothing major. What has been done right now is a MAJOR refactor from it's original version, which is in the master branch of its repo, to kotlin. If you don't know kotlin I highly urge you, if you would like to contribute, to learn kotlin. Kotlin has amazing documentation and is an easy to learn language. As time goes on, more features will be added, and this post will be updated more. As soon as it has a working version open to the public for use, then this post will be filled with details and there will be an updated wiki (NOTE: DO NOT USE THE WIKI, IT IS NOT UPDATED YET AND WILL REMAIN THAT WAY UNTIL iT IS USEABLE!!).
The repo linked is the kotlin version of the repo, which is partly kotlin, and will require another, non existent, API for kotlin-java forge interoperability. If you would like to contribute, then please let me know and make a fork of the repo. If needed I can make a discord server for easy communication with all contributors.
