Greetings Minecraft Forum! JavaBuckets here, and today we will be taking a look at our brand new mod; The Runescape Client Mod A.K.A RCM. Please keep in mind the mod is in a pre-release state where help is not at hand. Download the mod if you want to get a feel of what's to be expected from the mod, or simply download if you feel like bug testing!

The above download is for the pre-release! This release is for the ones who wants an early look at the mod, see what it has to offer. It's also to bring me some early feedback on the mod. And last of all, bug testing! Please add to the list, if you come across a bug while using the mod in this document:Link Removed
This Update log won't contain the same sort of information we can give you on the PMC thread, but it will briefly tell you what has happened throughout the development days of the mod.
An initial early build of the mod found place earlier today. I was going to make some tests in the actual game before the early release of the mod. Seems like it wont be today it is released
(there were some major bugs that needs fixing, expect an update tomorrow for further information!)
The build from the 8th will be pre-released; I want some early feedback and some bugs out of the way before moving on with the coding of the many things that needs to be worked on :S
Another pre-release since some people enjoyed playing around with and I need to know if there are any more bugs!
Another upload for the people who enjoy playing around with the mod, contains bug fixes, exact bug fixes can be found in the update log.
To briefly go over what RCM is; It's a client sided mod, meaning it's meant for singleplayer only. (Might make it SMP compatible in the future) Almost all of the content is based off of Runescape, an online MMORPG created by Jagex. Unlike other Runescape mods, this mod is a total game overhaul. This means that major game changing content is a part of the mod. A lot of the content of Minecraft has been locked and needs to be unlocked. This is done by leveling up your skills in order to create your gear and items rather than just creating it freely.
Alternate Dimension is the best way to do it. How true will Dungeoneering be to RS's Dungeoneering? It was one of my favorite RS skills.
It will be very true, I will make sure all skills are trainable in the dungeons, have the same complexities, monsters (more or less), special rooms, puzzle rooms (I may add or remove some). If you mean in terms of story, then im not sure. I might add a pole when it comes to it.
To everyone else, glad to hear you're having a good time with the pre-release ;D A new update will be coming out this week! So stay tuned

Mod is client side only, the purpose is to create a singleplayer gameplay to its maximum. I have mentioned though that in the future I might do a SMP compatible version instead, but that will be after the initial mod release when all skills are done being worked on.

Wow! This looks like it's going to become a great mod! I especially like the quest task system but I think killing 47 Witherbosses miiiight take a little while. I'd love to see the task system include tasks like "Trade with 10 different villagers" or just some randomly generated achievement-like challenges to finish for xp and stuff. Keep it up!

It's going to be an alternate dimension in where dungeons will spawn randomly. Haven't thought more about it than the concept and idea.
The skill will probably be one of the last ones I work on, along with invention if I will even do that, haven't decided yet.

Is there a way to bury bones right now? Or does the altar spawn often enough to use bones on it?
