(I feel like I'm writing in English like a retard but well... I'm not a English speaker)
As title says, this is DooMmod. And I think DooM doesn't need presentation, if it does need it for you, maybe you're living in a cave.
This mod will add everything that appears in DooM & DooM II, such as Items, Armors, Enemies, Elevators, Doors, Buttons, Weapons, Dungeons, Dimensions, Blocks, Liquids, Teleports, etc... and things that are not in DooM, like Furnaces or Achievements
In the mod you'll be able to turn on/off each thing, so you can play with the things you want, (you'll can turn on/off a Weapon, a single Mob, a Dimension, a Dungeon, make changes in the mod behaviour, etc...)
There are some ideas that I'm thinking on, like new weapons that allows you shot like an Imp, a Cacodemon, a Revenant or an Arch-Vile... or even an item with the hability of respawn any recently dead mob, like the Arch-Vile do... but they're just thoughts.
I've tried to code a MIDI file reader but Java can't handle that in realtime, takes too long to load file...

Could you make this compatible with Lycanite's mobs mod, which as you probably already know adds some Doom-based mobs. Maybe an option to turn off mobs in this mod, because as much as i love the game, i'm not sure if i want THAT much Doom.

Yes I know what Lycanite's mod does and it's sure that this mod will be compatible with it. There will be options to activate/deactivate every single thing
PS: No human can get "much" DooM. The more DooM you have in your life, the better your life will be.
You know, I was going to start working on a Doom mod myself (I was working on the weapon images) but then I found this...
...please, don't stop working on this! Also, will this mod plan on being multiplayer compatible in the future?

I don't know If you know the Doomlike Dungeons mod but you have the possibility to configure dungeons to use your blocks and Lycanite mod. This would make perfect Doom Worlds ...

About the Lycanite mod... I already know Lycanite's mod add some DooM mobs but DooMmod will add ALL mobs with the same behaviour that they had on DooM, so my mobs gonna have a better DooM feeling (But doesn't gonna have detailed 3D Models, I personally think that kills the Minecraft feeling)
So is this mod still in development? As this place has been a bit quiet recently.
Yes, this mod is alive but I had almost no free time this last months, so I prefer to use that free time coding instead of taking screenshots to update this.
Very cool. Much awesome. So WOW. Please just tell us if it's dead or not, I'm really looking forward to this mod, especially for all the nice doom texture blocks, liquid and barrels For suggestion, I didn't see a UAC teleporter pad, that would be cool for a UAC themed base.
I think your textures, blocks and items look great. The only problem Lin my opinion is the armor. I know it's still in development but can you make the armor more detailed. Other than that definitely will download.
