Hey everyone!
I'm currently working on a mod that aims to enhance movement and combat, adding new melee and magic attacks such as Scythes, and Staffs(Maybe that's what I'll call it lol, Minecraft Scythes & Staffs)
I unfortunately suck at rendering, I'm not used to coding Java, I started with Game Maker Studio and now use C# for Unity. Given that I've been using Game Engines the entirety of my adventures into programming I don't know the first thing about graphics and stuff like that.
So I have two problems, but I'm totally getting ahead of myself, let me show you what I've been working on first. So I've made a Cloak as you can see below(I've been using GeckoLib) and for the most part it's working normal, but when I shift-sneak the children of the torso float a bit away, I have no idea why this is happening but surely it must be a common problem to some degree? any help is appreciated. My second "problem" is that when I punch the cloak arms follow, I of course could make it so it's just one cube parented to the body but I like the idle animation that is created by having the arms like that, is there some way I can do custom animations during different player animations in gecko-lib?? https://legacy.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/witch-haven
