Hello! I'm making an adventure map and I'd love your support. I'm going solo but it's always nice to have people out there backing the project.
This map is going to be a mix of choose your own adventure, exploring, adventure (duh), and story. I love the Legend of Zelda games and I want to make something resembling the epicness of the series. All exploring no matter how unconnected to the story it is will be rewarded. Whether through knowledge, loot, money, or even fame, exploration is highly encouraged.
I'm cutting no corners on this map and I want it to be the best it can possibly be (with my limited command block knowledge and building skills). Instead of just world-editing a forest onto a world painted map, I'm world-editing a forest onto a world painted map with hills made from the ground up, custom trees and parts of the forest, secret caves, boulders and bushes and flowers and etc. I want every single explorable part of the map to be wonderful to find.
Since I'm just a mediocre builder I'm using Jeracraft's tutorials on medieval building to create most of the structures in the map. Don't hate, it's the only way to get the villages and cities in the map to capture the feeling I need. Plus I'll be changing a lot to fit the climate of the place or just what I don't like.
Now that I'm done rambling here's some screenshots of the finished work. I'll keep you updated on stuff I add through a bunch of updates, and although I may show new areas and mechanics, I'm not going to spoil any of the story. Now, screenshots!
