hey, i am dutchwarrior and im working on a new zombie survival map, i think it is starting to get really nice but i dont know what other think about it. this is one of the first versions of the map, i will update it soon
can someone please play my map and tell me your opinion in the commants (please help me out with some tips!!!).
here's some information about the map:
*i used the new 1.9 texture pack tricks to add new weapons.
*i downloaded a map to work in (i never did this before so i didn't wanted to spend my time in the decoration and buildings)
*read all the signs in spawn to make sure the game doesn't crash
*it is working on some command blocks
*it doesn't need any mods or shaders.
the person that helped me the most will get a shout out in the map with the link to your youtube channel or facebook page or whatever!

the first one is the map, the second one is the texture pack.
i just noticed that the download is not completed. i dont know why but this in not the complete download. i just changed the download so now it should work!
There was nothing wrong with the map, however you could make it easier to install by putting the resource pack you have into the world map. I've attached a picture of how to do it if you do not know.
Also I noticed that some of the zombies did not spawn with a custom head on them, I do not know if that was meant to happen or just an accident. weather or not you chose to fix/change that does not really matter to me.
After playing for a while I also realized that I did not get a score for killing zombies with the grenade, this is probably the only fix that NEEDS to be dealt with.
I know that I kind of focused on the negatives here, but it was a really great map overall.
If you want to read some more there are some suggestions I have that could add to the map:
Boss zombies indicated with a different custom skull.
more power full grenades, I mean a zombie should die with one or two grenades, not four.
Unlock more parts to the city (just like buying guns, but using /fill command instead of /give)

what happens when you put the resource pack in the map? is it automatic activated when it is in the world folder???

*i tried to make a boss but i need to edit my scoreboard for it and i wanted this to be a beta-map.
*yeah im going to make the parts of the city playable but again this is just the beginning of the map.
i dont know how i can testfor if a zombie is killed by a potion, if you know that please tell me.
(by the way, if you send your minecraft name or youtube name it is going to be in the map and on youtube soon because you really helped me here!)

Putting the resources in the world save folder does make it automatically load with that world (though I'm sure you probably already experimented with it). This feature blew me away when I first figured it out.
Most zombies did spawn with hero brine's head, a couple didn't however. (like I said before however, doesn't really effect game play)
I see what you mean with the boss and I wasn't trying to rush you or anything, it's already a good map.
As far as unlock-able areas go, awesome
The potion grenade problem, I'm afraid, is a bit harder to solve. After looking at your redstone (in response to the question) I saw that to spawn the next wave of zombies the player needs ten kills. However, if a player kills all the zombies with a grenade, the player wouldn't get ten kills. Then, the next wave would not spawn and the player is stuck in an awesomely built world, but no zombies.
The way I would fix this is I would add a /testfor command block testing for zombies hooked up to a not gate, followed by the wave command, and setblock command that you already have (see picture for details). When all zombies are dead, weather a grenade killed them, they took fall damage or any other ways they might die, it won't matter because it will just spawn in the next wave.
If you do this however, you still won't get any points for killing a zombie with a grenade. To fix that original problem you could give a player points every wave in addition to each zombie that is killed. This would make It so that if you killed a whole wave of zombies with a grenade you would still get the wave completion reward, but not the individual zombie kill reward, making it more strategic to try to weaken zombies with grenades instead of kill them.
Also the zombies without the herobrine head are naturally spawning zombies, you can fix this simply by using the command:
/gamerule doMobSpawning false
this command makes it so no mobs spawn except by commands. this command would also eliminate the many command blocks you have that are there just to kill entities.
