I was wondering if there's some way allow a mod to store block information in the save files beyond the block metadata,
Basically, can a mod use the existing MC saves to store some more data so that it doesn't get lost on save/reload?
Obviously the entire program could be rewritten but I'm wondering if there's some already existing way to do it, preferably modifying as few existing files as possible.
