heyo, I'm making gold farm ( a really big one) the problem im having is the zombie pigman are locking onto 1 turtle egg and trying to get to it, no matter how far away they are. they lock onto 1 egg and walk towards it then fall down the trapdoors do about 7 block below, but rather than swapping there lock on to a new closer egg they keep trying to get to the 1st 1. can this be altered somehow? Im just on a vanilla realm btw. ty for any help you guys can offer.
I guess you can't do anything. The only way to get them to lock onto another egg would be to break the first egg (which isn't a real option of course).
It's like the way zombies track the first player they see even if a second player comes right next to them after that.
Your best bet would be to lure the pigmen into a single drop shaft, so you wouldn't need to worry about this kind of things, like, for example, in gnembon's design (search "gnembon gold farm" on Google).
