In Creative mode you can build a portal but that would mean you can't gain achievements, if you care about that kind of thing.
I'd suggest finding another stronghold, if you have the normal (large) world size there should be 2 more within 640-1154 blocks of either spawn or 0/Y/0 and more further out.
If you do build one the frame blocks need to be placed in the right way, from the inside of the frame and standing right in front of the spot you're placing a block in.

While the Wiki says that there are 3 strongholds within 640-1152 blocks of the origin that is not correct (hasn't been for a long time, if ever; that is what Java had before 1.9); they are randomly distributed across the entire world (the number only limited by the world size) with an unknown frequency/spacing; I've seen people travel 5000 blocks to find the closest stronghold to spawn (presuming they were near 0,0):
Also, strongholds not having a portal is actually considered to be a feature in Bedrock (a very bad one IMO - at the very least Eyes of Ender should not locate them. Java only uses a single line of code in a loop to guarantee that a portal room is added to the structure so I don't know why they can't do the same on Bedrock):
funnily I did see ‘Minecraft’ section but it didn’t have a page dedicated to ‘Survival Mode’ like this section had.
Regardless, many thanks for getting back to me – I’m actually playing with my 8 year old nephew and he’s quite competitive with someone from his school about the ‘Achievements’ personally I couldn’t care but he really does care about that, so looks like we’ll have to go with option B and travel some blocks away to find a new stronghold and hope for the best.
We’ve both spent over a month preparing for this on this world, we’ve created a great world and more importantly for me it’s a way for me to bond with my nephew which I don’t get outside of MC so any option where we can keep what work we’ve done together the better.
He is just really jealous as the boy from his school has already completed the end so he is constantly asking me if we can do it
I’ll report back once I’ve found another stronghold! I really wish we could keep this stronghold since it's so close to where we built our home...
Many thanks from both myself and my nephew guys, big help.

Hi guys,
I've located the stronghold but can't seem to find the end portal! it's like glitched underwater and the stronghold is in like chunks.
I'd got so annoyed in spending hours looking for it (underwater) that i loaded creative and blew loads away with TNT but can't find anything
Sorry to mentioned, this is Windows 10 Edition - I couldn't find the correct part of the forum to post that (I did look)
anyone experience this? Or know a way i can get the ender to spawn?
Hi,
That seems to happen in Bedrock/Windows-10

Win-10/Bedrock is just plain "Minecraft" now days, so just scroll down to the 4:th section, past the 3 Java sections.

Just testing.

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
