After playing Minecraft for a long time, it seems like un-modded worlds are rather boring. But if you are new to playing, here are 10 things to find in your Vanilla worlds that are very rare...
Make a list on you Survival World and keep your eyes peeled for these 10 things!
10: Pink Sheep
Sheep can naturally spawn in the colors white, brown, grey, black, and rarely pink. You can dye a sheep any color, but it is still cool to see the elusive pink sheep running around the wild.
9: Jockeys
Jockeys come in two varients, spider and chicken. A spider jockey is a skeleton riding a spider, and a chicken jockey is a baby zombie riding a chicken. These two mobs are rather rare, and are both forces to contend with. The chicken jockey is fast, and the spider jockey has a ranged attack AND can climb into your roofless base... Consider yourself both lucky and unlucky if you come across one.
Number 8: A Desert Well
A desert well is a rare, small structure you might find well (No pun intended) wandering around your minecraft world. This structure tends to freak players out the first time they see it, because most people don't know about it's existance. IMage finding a building in your minecraft singleplayer world you KNOW you didn't build!
Number 7: Surprise Silverfish
Silverfish are a mob that spawns in strongholds (a super rare underground castle, that includes a portal to the end), and jump out of certain blocks in strongholds. What gives a lot of players a big surprise, is that sometimes these little guys spawn when you break certain rocks in the mountain biome. Makes emerald hunting a little more dangerous, as these guys will multiply if you don't kill them fast enough.
6: Surface Dungeons
Dungeons are little rooms you will come across mining. They contain monster spawners and chests. They are rare on their own, but an especially special find is a surface dungeons. This dungeons top is exposed to the sun, and is usually covered in sand. Dig around to find the loot-filled chests!
5: Charged Creepers and Surface Spawning Zombie Pigmen
Raining isn't exactly rare in minecraft. But sometimes, you will find yourself in a lightning storm. This is a good opportunity for you to go see some new mobs, such as super charged creepers and zombie pigmen! If a bolt of lightning strikes a creeper, you get a charged creeper, a real force to be reckoned with. If lightning strikes a pig, a zombie pigman will spawn! Pretty scary, huh? Maybe you don't want to go out in a lightning storm...
4: Mushroom Biomes
Mushroom biomes are a very rare biome in minecraft, I have only found them once! But they are cool. There are mushroom trees, mushroom cows, mushroom dirt, and no hostile mobs spawn in this biome!
3: Strange Music
This one is high on the lost because I don't even know if its in minecraft anymore. Its THAT rare. Its a music track that sounds unsettling, seen in the very early stages of minecraft. There's a part that says "mojang specifications" in a weird, warped, distorted voice. The song has a creepy atmosphere. I don't even know if its in the game anymore. I can't even find a youtube video about it.
2: The Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog
IN 1.8 only. Rabbits are not very common, but killer rabbits, a monty python reference that wants you dead, is extremely rare. Its number two because I personally love this feature.
Alright , drumroll please for number 1...

1: Minceraft
I know what you're thinking. "hey, you just spelled minecraft wrong!"
Yah, that's what I though about Mojang when I saw this:
There is a very rare chance that you will see this when you boot up minecraft. I know. Its awesome. And intentional, and rare. IN fact, Notch said he added a secret feature to 1.2. This was it...
Honorable mention:
Herobrine
Do I really need to explain?
(Yes I know he's not real)
(maybe)...
jk
(hes watching you)
Please tell me If i forgot any
I tried not to include generating structures, because they are widely known
I think the "Strange music" you're referring to may be a song named Calm 4. It was a test song made by Notch way back in the early stages of Minecraft. You can find it

Yep, that's it. Thanks!
If I can get 6 more rare things suggested, I will make another list.
Also sorry for the bad grammar, I will fix it later.

You can just call me Canary.
How not to look like a total fool in the forum games
Yeah, but witches also spawn naturally, so how would you know the difference?
TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
Well, if it's on fire, or has lower health, that's a noticeable difference.

Edit: Picture not working :/
The rarest thing in mine craft is...
what?
Yah, but thats in 2.0... You can't find it in the actual game.
