Especially the calms and pianos, they make me nostalgic about when I started playing. It's absolutely great music, cheers to C418. Anyone else experience this?
I love the music (dont listen to it frequently though, my playlist is usually blaring.) Reminds me of a game I once played as a kid. Can't think of what it is though.

Grats on 500th Post. And yes, the music gives me a feeling like that. I have a really 'weird' imagination, so when I hear music, I pretty much "always" imagine well...let's just say 'cut scenes' that would fit that music. So I once was playing Minecraft, and I Imagined a tower, me sitting on it, alone looking at Sunset. Then I left and went mining. The whole idea of that was the regular day of a minecrafter. Mine, Build, whatever they like to do. But it usually gets boring about 1 month into a game for me. Now, you can call me weird, because I'd agree, but this music gives me huge Nostalgia.
Oh god yes. I've been contemplating getting all of C418's music and adding them to a playlist in media player, but then I realize that it wouldn't make minecraft as special if I could listen to the music all the time. I just love it when the music randomly starts playing when I'm in game.
OH MAN, i Completely know what your talking about, i just is so Nostalgia! Possibly Harvest moon or
builder mode on The sims, but its so weird how we get this nostalgia
Well, I dont feel anything at all. But that must be because I have the game music muted and put a playlist of my own instead since day 1.
But I DID listen to it a few time in day 1. It didnt seem that bad, its just the looooong times of complete silence betwen the musics than annoyied me. So, since then I just play my own music (I DID liste to ingame music by youtube, thougt. My fav one is calm4.ogg :biggrin.gif:)
As pointed out by someone in the Synthwave video of Sweden, the chords in Sweden(and some other songs, not all) are quite similar to the ones used in synth waves of the 80s. Since most of Sweden consists of chords I, II and V, which are some chords used in Synthwaves, they sound familiar and quite nostalgic.

Also, grats on 500th!
It still makes Minecraft special for me, even though I have both C418 volumes on my Amazon account.
Reason being is because the discs still let you listen to the jukebox discs in game. I know not all of C418's tracks are on discs, and one of them was made by Lena Raine
but when you play the jukebox discs on the same world in the same area, other players can hear them, and you won't get complaints from the copyright owner for it because they each have a license to listen to them.
It's all in one, and with the in game music all the tracks are in shuffle mode,
you don't even have to bother using a separate media player for them, it is done for you.
BTW, 500th post!
