Um.. well, MineCraft appears to be launching as a "server", rather than just the normal Single-Player MineCraft that it used to be. I'm not entirely sure if this is really a "problem", but.. it's got me curious about how to make it stop.
Here is my launcher log, and the game itself, to prove what I'm saying:
You may have to actually open the image in a new tab, and zoom in, to see the text.. sorry lol. I have two screens, so the resolution is kind of high. Here: http://i.imgur.com/hrSjaeo.png
But anyways... It very clearly states:
[19:50:38] [Server thread/INFO]: Starting integrated minecraft server version 1.8
And then starts saying other "server specific" things like:
[19:53:51] [Server thread/INFO]: Saving chunks for level '1.8 Creative.'/Overworld
[19:53:51] [Server thread/INFO]: Saving chunks for level '1.8 Creative.'/Nether
[19:53:51] [Server thread/INFO]: Saving chunks for level '1.8 Creative.'/The End
Which is strange... considering these listed folders don't exist. >.<
Does anyone know how to make this stop, and go back to just being "normal" MineCraft?
No. Single player was changed into an internal server in 1.3 and you can't run it any other way.
Blegh.. okay. Thank you for responding. It just bugs me how it's attempting to save files that don't exist.. like, in my mind, I believe it's using up pointless CPU power by running as if it were a server, rather than just a normal MineCraft instance. This is just what I feel like, but it's probably just a load of bollocks though. So don't mind me.

o.o
How odd...
Alright, thank you. So there's no way to make it not run as a server..?
