Hi, I've encountered a problem with trying to configure my server when I type in the "java -jar minecraft_server.1.12.2.jar" it pops up and error that says its unable to access the file. How do I solve this issue?
Run the command from the folder the jar file is. Or add the full path to the command. As it is the command is looking for the jar file in the wrong place
Correct, so just type in within the cmd the following:
cd C:\Users\Austin\Desktop\minecraft
java -jar minecraft_server.1.12.2.jar nogui
And it should work, adjust the command line in order to include the amount of RAM you'd like to allocate to the JVM.

Where have you installed the jar file at? Can you post the full directory location?
