Hello, I have just bought Minecraft on PC from Mojang.com on Wed, Aug 23,2017. I immediately setup an account and downloaded the latest version of Minecraft (which at the time is 1.12.1). My brother who has a server on Host Horde gave me his server ip but when I try to join it I receive the following error code "io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectExceptioon: Connection refused: no further information"

I have no idea why this is happening we live under the same roof and He has about 3 other friends that play on his service on the regular. I have went through my firewall and made sure everything is letting minecraft through but still nothing.

If you have a solution please help, thank you.

- if you are on the same network make sure you are using the internal ip not your external ip
