Hello. I have recently made a minecraft server for me and my friends to play in. There is a problem though. Every time they want to join i have to go on the multiplayer screen for them to join. Is there anyway to fix it so that if the server is up they can join with out me being on the multiplayer screen?

it just says "cant connect to server"

Post the entire server log using paste.ubuntu.com and the contents of your startup script.

You're creating a local server and then sharing it out to LAN? Have you tried having the users connect via IP and port number?
