I recently built a pc system from second hand parts. On this pc I installed a Linux Ubuntu server which I am currently using as my Minecraft server. Its only running on my local network right now but I would also like others from outside the network to join. To accomplish this I need to do some port forwarding. I have no experience with this however. I don't now the risks involved and would like to know what they are. My main question is: are when I port forward the other devices on my local network at risk or is it only the one on which the server is running?

If you only open the port for the server then you are good to go
