I tried portforwarding my router to 25565, disabling my firewall, and there was still no luck. I checked the TCP/UDP option, set 25565 to internal start, internal end, and external start and external end. I checked on portchecktool.com to see if the port was open, but no luck. Please help
Try disabling the windows firewall, if that doesn't work, make sure you have a static IP set in the router for the computer running the server, and that the port is forwarded to that IP address.
Router: Netgear Nighthawk RAX80

I added my internal IP as a reservation so that it is static, but still no luck
is the port forwarding rule pointed at your static IP?
Yes I set the rule to point to my internal ipv4 address
you're sure your Windows firewall isn't blocking it? I had to turn mine completely off to make Minecraft servers work at all
Yep, I tried testing the port connection with firewall off and no luck still
Oh, it works now! I turned off all of my firewall, not just domain, but private and public. Now it works, thank you 2015corvettec784676
