I am trying to have my server run a world located in onedrive on my machine so that it stays synced when i play single player and multiplayer without having to copy the files across.
But this command returns an error about an illegal character. Can this '-world' parameter not take a path? Does the value passed in have to be located in the same directory as the server.jar file?
I am trying to have my server run a world located in onedrive on my machine so that it stays synced when i play single player and multiplayer without having to copy the files across.
This command works perfectly:
java -Xms1024M -Xmx1024M -jar server.jar nogui -world "main_world_3_31_20"
But this command returns an error about an illegal character. Can this '-world' parameter not take a path? Does the value passed in have to be located in the same directory as the server.jar file?
java -Xms1024M -Xmx1024M -jar server.jar nogui -world "C:\Users\Basic\OneDrive\Documents\Games\Minecraft\saves\main_world_3_31_20"
java.nio.file.InvalidPathException: Illegal char <:> at index 3: .\C:\Users\Basic\OneDrive\Documents\Games\Minecraft\saves\main_world_3_31_20
I have tried 'escaping' the slashes by doubling up, but i get the same error. Am i just missing some simple java syntax for the path?
