I created this server yesterday and can connect to it with my local ip but when anyone else tries or I try it tells me Connection timed out (using public IP and not on the same network). This was using a premium account.
Here is the log :

Sorry about the one bit in french (system language) I tried translating it but I can't be bilingual in java too.
There's one Server console handler/ERROR that I don't know about
I've messed around with setting online-mode and other stuff in properties to true or false, it hasn't changed anything.
Thanks in advance!
1. Leave the server IP setting in server.properties blank.
2. Post results from speedtest.net.
Speedtest Results
PING 19ms
DOWNLOAD 2.47 Mbps
UPLOAD 0.41 Mbps
Tried removing IP in server.properties, still got Timed Out
In the server list the server only ever says Pinging, never seen it display my motd
If you wanna host a server you need internet.
Is what I have too little for one or two people?
What you have is dial up basically, internet from early 2000s, not suitable for any online multiplayer.
Ouch, what speeds should i need for a couple of people then? I can always run a hotspot
Also i can play on servers just fine, in multiple different games so are you sure?
50mbits download, at least 10mbits upload.
