Hello everyone. The name is Cory. I am trying to make a minecraft server. I have made them in the past, except the last time I did was during beta, so a long time ago.
I have downloaded the server, port forwarded, turned off my firewall, both windows and router. I set my computer to DMZ, which makes the router think my pc is another router, so it unrestricts everything.
I have checked my port forwarding with multiple online websites and all say my port is open. I have started the server, the world loads perfectly fine.
I can connect using local host, but when I put my public IP into the address, I cannot join, both on the computer running the server and also on my laptop connected to my phone hotspot (completely separate LAN).
I am at a loss to what I can try. I have redownloaded the server twice.
The only errors I get are "Exception handling console input", which goes away when I make a batch file and allocate more ram.
The ONLY thing I can possibly think of that points at the problem is that ONE of the 2 "check if my server is up" websites can't find it. The other does and detects if I change the motd to other things.
The minecraft client only says "cant connect to server"
Here is the log without allocating ram

I have tried connecting using my laptop on my phone's hotspot, so my desktop is on my home network and my laptop is on a 4g connection, completely different networks and doesn't work (said above)
So I have a little progress. If I use my IPv6, I am able to join from my desktop(the server host) and my laptop on my home network. Still doesn't work over the internet though

In this log file, I log in using localhost and log out. The server works.
Pebcak. You're not supposed to be able to connect with your public IP from inside the network. Use localhost or your PC's local IP.
