I just started up a minecraft server running 1.15.2 from my computer for my friends and I (vanilla survival). I set the server up and sent my friends the ip. They all can join the server and play, but one of my friends is having troubles. He can join the world, but is floating in nothingness and can just see the sky. The world takes forever to load in for him and eventually he times out. He has no problems connecting to other servers, even ones hosted by my other friends. His speed is on the slower side (10 mbps down, 2 mbps up), but shouldn't be affecting being able to load in. He has restarted his router, game, and restarted his pc. We both opened up the Java Platform SE binary for both private and public in the Windows defender firewall, which didn't work. We don't know where to go from here. Any solutions?
This is what happens in the cmd prompt (covered name):
[16:14:11] [Server thread/INFO]: [Player] joined the game
[16:14:43] [Server thread/INFO]: [Player] lost connection: Timed out
[16:14:43] [Server thread/INFO]: [Player] left the game
Well slow connection does affect- and if your connection is meh and his is just plain bad then the chances that he won't be able to load the world quickly enough are high.
He can load the world, it is just slow and he times out. If we walk up to him, he is frozen in place and isn't doing anything. Is there any way to fix this?
