According to this page you need 2 GB for 1-3 players and 8 GB for 8 players (around 1 GB per player), though it appears to be outdated as it still mentions Pentium 4 CPUs (more than a decade out of production). They do appear to have updated the memory requirements though since an archived page says that 2 GB can handle up to 18 players, which was reasonable back in the 1.6 days, and this would be consistent with the requirements for singleplayer (they increased the default allocation from 1 GB to 2 GB around 1.13, while 1.6 could run with as little as 256 MB. 1.14 is probably the same as 1.13-1.15 as not much has changed internally).
I'd go with a min 2Gb VPS to start. try to stay away from shared hosting these days mostly due to newer versions of minecraft tends to be more resource hungry
Hello, I'm creating a 1.14.4 server (from a website-host) running on PaperAPI with these plugins:
EssentialsX, EssentialsXChat, EssentialsXSpawn, Dynmap, Vault, iConomyChestShop
and I'm planning to add 2-3 more plugins.
I was thinking 4GB but I'm not sure. How much should I buy?

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
So you're saying I should buy an expensive 30GB RAM server? :/ I might have to rethink this then..
