I recently migrated a minecraft server from windows 2012 R2 to a Debian 10 machine, the only problem I have is with the world, it's the right seed, it even keeps all of the player data and inventory, but all progress on the world is gone (buildings ect.) any idea on how I can fix this?
Are you sure you copied the old one in its entirety before starting the server? Because if you didn't copy it but set the seed then it just generates it over again. Player data is a different file that's stored with your server, not the world (i think).
