I'm not an expert, nor would I even say I'm advanced at setting up a Minecraft server. But I can't imagine there not being mods to be able to modify vanilla minecraft in interesting ways.
This started when I tried RLCraft, didn't like it. The randomness of it was not for me. However, I did really like the procedural generation. The cool new towers, tree fortresses, hobbit holes, etc. It was really cool. I thought, "this can't be too hard to add to vanilla" after all, they're using vanilla blocks, and mechanisms.
But apparently I'm dead wrong. I can't find any way to port over the structures (without all the non-vanilla mobs, biomes, etc) at all. Not only that, but I'm having trouble finding any cool mods that add JUST structures.
tldr - My goal here is to have a server with ONLYserverside mods that add cool new structures that will make the vanilla experience more interesting and fun to explore.
So is there any possible way to have just the structures from RLCraft modpack? Or is there somewhere I can find serverside only mods?
The simplest way to have server-side world generator is to use plugins (like TerrainControl(outdated)), or write something like it yourself.
Technically it can be created with forge if mod will only change terrain generation. The OTG does it, for example.
