I have a 1.14 Minecraft server installed on an Arch Linux computer, which doesn't have any kind of graphical interface aside from the terminal, and I want to update it from 1.14 to 1.14.2. On Windows you can easily update a server by copying out your important files and world data, and just reinstall server software. However, I'm not entirely sure how to do that from inside the terminal. I know how to reinstall the server software, but not backup all the files.
Does "minecraftd backup" also backup important files, and not just the world data? Thanks.
Edit: I should mention, the 1.14 server works fine by the way. I can access it from anywhere and friends can play. I just want to update it.
