Clicked the download link for minecraft_server.1.13.jar, it then downloads a server.jar file.
I double click the jar file to open it, but then Java will flash open a window and close immediately.
I managed to see find out it was giving the error
could not find or load main class jar C:\Users\campb\Desktop\mc\server.jar
There are no files generating so this isn't the EULA.txt problem.
I've also tried restarting my computer and uninstalling and re-installing Java, current java version is
java version "1.8.0_181" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_181-b13) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.181-b13, mixed mode)
Really appreciate any help with this
EDIT:
I went and tried do this on my older windows 7 computer, downloading exact same server.jar file and updated to the same version of java, and it worked perfectly fine.
For some reason this is not working in Windows 10 for me.
I also tried running through cmd, but I receive the "unable to access jarfile server.jar" error
UPDATE: SOLVED
For some reason my .jar file assocation was not correctly associated, even after manually associating it myself.
I found this tool and it fixed the issue immeadiately
