First of all, I'm on 1.12.2 not 1.12.1 (was not present in the dropdown list )
I'm trying to start a forge server on my computer. I tried without mods server-side and with Vanilla Minecraft, it worked fine, I connected successfully. I tried to add a mod on the server, connect with a Forge profile this time, and it was stuck on the "logging in..." screen. On the server cmd was displayed "Shadowzyx joined the server", and nothing else... I checked all the topics about it, no one gave a solution that would fit to my issue
Game logs were actually pretty big, so I pasted the few first exceptions, it goes like this for a thousand lines as I can see... Enough to make pastebin crash :/
all the server logs and would help if you have to zip them or split them that would be fine in this case also can you give details on server setup and config?
have you made sure your server and client mods match excluding client-side mods also would help to know how your server is configured (ie the Java arguments that you use to start your server)
Hm, for the java arguments, I'm launching the server with -Xms1024m -Xmx1024m. For the mods, how can I know which ones are client-side ? If I don't have any client-side mod, do I have to install the same mods on the server and on my computer ?
Ok modded mc servers need a good amount of ram 4-5Gb is a good start for max ram after setting the ram in your args make sure you set your args so they match your hardware and server,
as for client-side mods, they normally give that info in the mod description of you are not sure post a list of mods you are using that way we can help
also, are you trying to run client and server on the same machine or different?

I can't pastebin it as it's larger than 512 kb
Server properties : https://pastebin.com/UpG6ByWY
Config : 16 GB RAM, gtx 1080, i5 8600k 3.6 ghz
Tell me if you need anything else

Oh okay I will try to add more RAM to the server,
And yes I'm trying to run both on same machine :/
And for the mods I use :
- Exotic Birds
- Buildcraft
- CarryOn
- ClockHUD
- InventoryTweaks
- OptiFine
- Realm of the Dragons
- TreeCapitator
OptiFine is a client-side mod
Ok so every other mod in the list should be on both the client and the server ?
yes
