I have an unmodified 1.12.2 server that keeps crashing at random intervals. There's no reproduceable behaviors, no way to predict so far. Last entries in latest.log at exact time of crash are as follows:
[12:27:28] [Server console handler/ERROR]: Exception handling console input

I reinstalled Java, and went so far as to reprovision the server entirely, but this still happens. Searches for this bring up old versions and issues with crashes at server startup, but nothing I could find indicated issues with servers that had previously been running without issue. Any ideas?
Environment: CentOS Linux release 7.4.1708, Java 1.8.0 (openjdk-1.8.0.151-1.b12.el7_4.x86_64)

are you running the server from home or have a host?
could be hardware related and not java.
Ask technical support fro your host if its hosted.
