I haven't touched the server in a while, or anything in it, but when I went to turn it on today, I found that my the .jar file used to open the server was now a .zip (even though it was still named .jar) and clicking it does not turn on the server. I attempted to redownload the the server program from the minecraft website, but it is also a .zip file. What is going in? I am currently using Mac OSX Sierra 10.12.6.

either rename it back to a .jar (I don't remember exactly how to do this on mac, just that it's so much more of a pain than on windows), or use a batch script to launch it.
