My brother and I recently started a LAN world. We are both on Macbook Pros (I know, not the greatest) and everything was going fine until, after he disconnected and tried to join, it wouldn't show up. We tried using direct connect, and it would just load for ages and then a java error would come up that looks something like this:
java.net.SocketException: Host is down
Even weirder, after I exit my game and go into my multiplayer, I can see my own world at the bottom where LAN worlds show up. When I click on this it just comes up with something like java.connectionrefused. I don't know whats going on. I've seen similar posts but their fixes are for windows. It is worth noting that I have turned off my firewall. Thanks
P.S.
This is my first time posting so if this isn't the right topic please let me know
