Just wanted to say I know u need to use build tools and git bashing BUT I need the method to update the server as what I HAVE TO DO!! not what I need to do it! So If u can help me just please post Only whatever is required
and what ever the commands are plz post it tooo

just update the server jar that is all there is to it
So I just like download spigot 1.12 and then replace the 1.11 and boom??? or more config than that

Yeah pretty much, like wolf said, then you just need to update the plugins if they need update, you can pretty much see it in console if something breaks
