The pictures really should explain for themselves but basically I have to decide between the 64-bit offline download version of java or the default " click here to install Java "
Installing the 64-bit offline download with have no latency issues while playing on my server but will cause giant frame-time spikes in game.
Installing the default " click here to install Java " version will cause unbearable latency server-side but the game itself will run without spikes.
I've tried using the launcher setting to use both versions but there is no difference in frame-times and seems to just be dependent on which version I've installed even if both are at the same time it will use the 64-bit one.
Not going to pretend I know what I'm talking about, Java has always been a disaster for me aside from making a basic server.
I doubt anyone has an answer to my original question but what exactly does the RED graph in the server gui represent? cpu usage, ram usage, latency?
Googling for answers is difficult because search results are FLOODED with pages using the wrong terminology such as " lag " when referring to fps drops being the biggest roadblock when trying to solve this myself.
