Title more or less explains it. I'm renting a vanilla Minecraft server through MCProHosting and it's all fine and dandy, except for one pretty significant issue. There seems to be a major issue with the rate at which mobs spawn. We're more or less set up in the mesa right next to spawn, but there are barely any mobs in the surrounding area. Before I migrated to a paid host I ran a local server on my computer and there were zero issues with mob rates.
I've already tried looking at other solutions, changing my server view distance to 10 did not resolve the issue like it did for other people although it did help somewhat.
