Hi

So whenever I connect to a server (I'm running minecraft 1.8.8 on Windows 10 on a PC), after a few minutes I get disconnected with this: Internal Exeption java.io.ioexeption: an established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine. I have looked around on the forums for help with this but I couldn't find anything. Any help?

RESOLVED: I'm sorry, but those comments didn't help one bit (exept the firewall parts). Fortunately, I managed to solve this myself. What I did was I went into Windows Security (from the control panel) and chose under firewall "allow certain apps through firewall". Then I changed the option "private" to "public" under Java SE Binary Platform. Everything worked fine from there. Hope this helps anyone with a similar issue!

I tried three more servers: still the same issue.

I was told to try that a few times, but I'm not sure if my firewall is on or off. I have McAfee and Windows Defendant managing my firewall options.

But assuming I have turned my firewall off and nothing changed, then what?

Fixes:

Contact the administrator of the server and tell them about it !

2nd. Try redownloading mc

3rd. Look on your computer for problems!
