OH never mind I fixed it. I just apparently had to edit the run.command in a different text editor and I saw crazy stuff. So I just deleted it and C&P the run.command stuff in the different text editor and it worked Thanks for your help though! (I don't know if you can understand this XD)
Help! When I try to use the run.command file, I end up with this!

Also this is what my start.command has inside.
#!/bin/bash
cd "$(dirname "$0")"
exec java -Xmx2G -Xms2G -jar spigot-1.8.8.jar nogui

I'm not experienced with OS X, but maybe try using the following for your start.command. Make sure it's saved in the server directory.
#!/bin/bash
java -Xmx2048M -Xms2048M -jar spigot-1.8.8.jar nogui
Hmm, I still get the same message when I try to use that one.

Did you follow the instructions for Mac OS X word for word from http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Tutorials/Setting_up_a_server?
But thats how to make a VANILLA MC server.

Yep, same should apply. You're just using a different jar file.
