I've recently been trying to run a server off of an old windows tablet I never use anymore, but I'm having an issue - the server runs on memory and processing abilities just fine, but it runs into massive amounts of tick lag, to the point where it even crashes the server.
First things first, the specs:
I'm trying to host it on an ASUS VivoTab Smart with Windows 8.1. It has two gigs of ram (barely any processes run - plenty of ram open), and an Intel Atom processor that runs at 1.8 GHz.
I also could NOT get any server executable to work, only launching a jar with some batch seems to even get the server to respond. I've been able to connect using my PC, but the server is simply lagging way too much, and as I've stated before, it crashes itself. From what I know, the hardware should be able to handle it (trust me I've allocated enough RAM), so why is it getting so laggy and unresponsive? There is a crash log, and a normal operations log in a reply down below.
Thanks!
Edit: I should probably add that yes, I have the proper ports forwarded and have tried both my public and my IPV4 addresses.
The amount of ram has little effect on server lag only loading and unloading of chunks etc. double check your start up script make sure your java args match your tablet specs
Ignore the file errors recorded before spawn setup, the server hadn't created those yet. Also, setting up spawn seemed to take a ridiculously long time.
Is there some sort of console or settings for java in general on a PC that I don't know about? I could take a look if such things exist,
Your server shut down due to high amounts of lag looking at your crash report "JVM Flags: 2 total; -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M" you have not fully configured your java arguments in your start up script you need to enter these just as you do in your client to tell java what it has to work with

Could you post one of the crash logs to pastebin or something similar?

Okay, so here's a crash report:

And here's the regular log file:
