Are you running 32bit or 64bit Windows? Also, are you using 32bit or 64bit Java? Verify that the Java path does exist (in case it's jre7 instead of jre6 for example).

Its a 64bit. I dont know about the java. How do I verify that the Java path does exist. Do I go to Program Files then Java and so on? Cause I did that. and it is jre6 thats why I put in jre6. Do I need to update it or what?

Ok, I was downloading the newer Java version (jre1..8.0_51) and it downloads to Program Files (x86) in the Java folder there. Is that the problem? The comp is 64bit and the Java thing that downloads is in the 32bit?

No matter what I do I still get the same 2 errors. either : 'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
or : The file name, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.
PLZ HALP!

This means you downloaded the 32bit version of java which is the default. You can change the path to include the x86 version of Program Files but using the 32 bit version will limit you on memory usage. You will need to download the x64 version manually.
The cmd that opens (at the top) says : C:/Windows/System32/cmd.exe Meaning that the cmd is running 32bit or something like that. Does any1 know how to fix this?

I found out the 32 thing isnt anything and the problem is occurring only when I open it in a .bat file. When do it by opening cmd and doing:
cd desktop
cd Mc Server
cd Hub
java -Xms3G -Xmx3G -jar spigot_server.jar nogui
it works fine.
I think the .bat problem is happening b/c when I write something in the .bat file and open it, right before what I wrote is a bunch of weird characters. This may be the case or it may not. Does any1 know how to fix.
I can use a temporary solution by using the write it all out in the cmd method but I would really like a fix to the .bat file.

Where was your batch file saved to begin with? Was it in the Hub folder? Keep in mind that you can add those directory changes to your batch file and save it elsewhere if you wanted to. Just add a PAUSE at the end so if there's an error it's easier to see. :-)

When you write a batch file, make sure to save it where you are planning on executing files. For example, if you're trying to run a server, you should save the batch in your server folder so you can access the server jar with just the name of the jar file.
When ever I run the run.bat file I have it opens then instantly crashes. I added "pause" on a new line and it says:
' [Weird Characters]java' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
This is my run.bat file:
pause
If java is not part of your enviornment variables (which it sounds like it is not) you will need to provide the full path.
Note that if there is a space in the path (like Program Files has) you will need quotes like shown.
Ok, now what I have in is:
But when I run it, it says :
The file name, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

Replying to your PM with the more specific details now. :-)

It is in the hub folder. It is just when I open cmd from the start menu I use cd.
