Hello, I have a 1.8.7 Spigot/Bukkit server, and I just installed the Essentials Spigot build except when I installed it and ran my server, I switched my gamemode to creative. Except when I did it, nothing happened. It didn't switch my gamemode, nothing happened in chat or the console log, just NOTHING. I also can't build or break things, and also, I can't hurt mobs and they can't hurt me, even in survival. When I only delete Essentials, not AntiBuild or Chat, just the MAIN Essentials, the commands then work. But the break and build and mob things aren't fixed, I switched myself to the Owner rank, still, nothing happened. It just says absolutely NOTHNG. This is getting pretty frustrating and I would like my server to be up and working for people to play on. Is there any way to fix this?

You are not installing all needed files, you need " Essentials-2.x-SNAPSHOT " " EssentialsSpawn-2.x-SNAPSHOT " and for chat " EssentialsChat-2.x-SNAPSHOT "
make sure all of these are added, you do not need any of the rest(i never use essentials protect, i use worldguard.)

Julian, can you tell me the link that you downloaded Essentials from? If it's from bukkit, then I advise you to redownload it from this website instead. https://hub.spigotmc.org/jenkins/job/Spigot-Essentials/12/

Well I know essentials is taken down so of course I downloaded it from that link but what is going on and how do I fix it?

Well, I tested and it worked absolutely fine for me.
I have reinstalled it and this issue is still going. I am currently stuck in a block and if I can't switch to creative I can't get out.
And I already said, nothing shows in the console!
