I had been playing on a server yesterday, but when i went to log in today, it said authentication servers were down for maintenance? Nothing was different from yesterday, and i even tried another server. Same thing. Anyone else seeing this?
I was able to get on for about 30 minutes and played some Skywars but now they are down once more.
What's weird is that I can't even get on lan servers with people in my house. I get the same message.
How the heck does this affect lan?

Well, I'm no expert but using my brain. I'm guessing that the message "authentication servers were down for maintenance" could mean now this is a could remember I'm no expert that the authentication servers are down for maintenance or just down....
Seriously though this message is simple to understand no need for a post.

oh my god u wanna knoiw whats WEIRD when we try to get on and look at the number or players on ud come to think there real players like us but apparently not because we cant get on and where i live right now (calgary alberta) where surrounded with like 5 tornatos so that could be the prob here but there moving to saskatuan anyways:D yay no torantos!............10 mins later on tv weather alert about tornatos......................... OH GOD REALLY

Yeah me either... I've tried logging into a different account too as well as switching which version I'm using and restarting the game but nothing. :/
Mojang's servers are being hit by a DDoS attack. You'll have to wait until everything is sorted.
