I have got my desktop setup to run a mincraft server and a friend and I are in the house connected to the server but experiencing bad block lag - blocks don't break.
The memory hasn't maxed out or anything, avg tick speed was ~ 20-30 ms with us both on, we are both in the house.
Even a direct connection with a lan cable still resulted in block lag?
Just tested playing on the computer that is hosting, is better but still getting some block lag just from cutting down trees?

What could be the issue?
