Hello, I recently started my first server. I forwarded port 25565, disabled my firewall, and unchecked the box that said "block anonymous internet requests." I go the server running and was able to connect from localhost and have my friends connect remotely. After running the server a few times, it stopped letting my friends connect remotely, though I could still connect via localhost. If I run the server and check the port on caayouseeme.com it says connection refused. I haven't made and changes to my router settings and have a static IP address. I am running the server from a Mac and my router is a Linksys WRT54GS. Does anybody have any idea what is wrong, or how I could fix this?
Would I be able to use the server I already have with Hamchi? My friends and I have made a lot of progress and I'd like to fix the server we already have if at all possible.

Yeah, easily. You would use the same server folder, just as opposed to having to port forward you just use Hamachi.

Try using a Hamchi server for sure. They do impact internet speed significantly, though.
