I'm currently installing a minecraft server for my 8 y.o. son and I'm a little bit confused in the MineCraft ecosystem. I can easily configure a standard minecraft server, but I think it would be better to have more possibilities with it. So I search around and I found http://msmhq.com/ and bukkit which looks better, or at least enhanced, than minecraft_server.jar. I did install craftbukkit-1.8.3.jar, but now it seems I'm stuck to install plugins, because the 1.8.3 version is the fancy and pimped one, so no plugins works with it So that leads to my question: what's the best way to have a minecraft server with multimap on the same instance ? Should I convince my son to use an old minecraft version, of may I have a chance to get something with the latest one ?
Last things, I'm pretty comfortable with sysadmin stuffs but not with minecraft, so as it's my first post here I hope that I find the correct thread to put it in - please be clement if it's not the case.

Hi All,
after some search around I did succeed to install a multi map server by myself. So let's share a quick how to:
Now the commands /mw are available, so you can
1. /mw create MyNewWorldName
2. /mw load MyNewWorldName
Then create a command block and try something like "/mw move @p MyNewWorldName"
Please not that it's working with the 1.8.3 client.
Hope it helps,
ponsfrilus
Note: I know now that Spigot is not Bukkit whatever did happend. I've just posted the first solution I've get worked on my server.
