So I've been working on my server's ranks, but when I try to promote myself (through console) I get the error:



[21:08:21 INFO]: Promotion error: User are not promoteable
[21:08:21 ERROR]: [PermissionsEx] Ranking Error (console > *UUID*/orz_nick): User are not promoteable

(Not showing UUID)



No other errors are shown, so idk what it could be besides my PEX layout:

Delete the users in that permission file, you aren't allowed to have asterisks in the the YAML file without it being enclosed in a quotation mark

If I understand what you mean, the *uuid* was just me censoring the UUID as I don't know if its safe to show publicly, but I will try deleting the users anyways, thanks!

Oh okay, try to use the ingame commands to add the players to the group.
idk what it's like these days. (I lived in the Pre-UUID era, before Microsoft Minecraft)
