Everyone on the same wifi as my server can connect fine. However, everyone NOT on the same wifi has one or two bars and experiences laggy gameplay. I need to fix this. Help! Note: I have NOT given my server any extra RAM. Do I need to?
If its FPS lag clear drops on the ground and kill all mobs then disable redstone by doing "/stoplag" then restart and run server with more RAM then do "/stoplag -c"
I have a vanilla server. I have not given my server any extra RAM. I personally did not experience the lag, but I think it was like avatar responding slowly to movements.
Firstly, only the computers not on the same wifi had lag. I played my server at the same time as one of the computers that had lag, I never saw any lag on my end. Could it still be RAM?
Secondly, my computer is not dedicated to hosting my server. Iss that too much RAM that my PC would slow down?
Thirdly and finally, my server is for less than ten people total. Is that too much RAM for less than ten people total?
