Hello! I have a Spigot 1.8 server that I used to home-host using a Verizon router, and everything worked fine. I have recently switched to xFinity and I already saw problems when Port Forwarding. Here is the settings that pop up in my Command Prompt when I enter the command ipconfig /all
I enter the IPv4 address (10.0.0.30) and portforward as normal, setting it to TCP, 25565 as start and end port, and enabling port triggering, I check to see if the port is open on canyouseeme.org and it says 'Yes' that it can see 25565 ported on my external IP, but, only when my server is turned on, when I log into Minecraft I can connect with 10.0.0.30:25565 but not MyExternalIp:25565 this worked perfectly fine with Verizon but now I;m stuck with xFinity and I cannot access it from Minecraft. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!
I entered the IPv4 address which is 10.0.0.30 into the port forwarding slot for the IP. And the port now works, and it shows up on canyouseeme.org, but when I try to connect to the server through my ported external IP it doesnt work, although I can still connect with the local IPv4 with the port (10.0.0.30:25565). The port is forwarded but I cannot connect to it through the port
