First, let me preface this by saying that I'm brand new to MineCraft (less than 3 months playing) and even newer to hosting so please forgive me if this is convoluted. I'll do my best to explain but it's going to be in layman's terms.
Backstory: I use a GGServers MultiCraft host to host an un-modded 1.8 vanilla server - ArgyleCraft. Before this, I did have a modded 1.7 server. While I was running the 1.7 server (which was setup by GGServers) the server banner was functioning, along with the MultiCraft control panel status page for the server. When I decided to do a complete wipe for 1.8, I did a complete wipe: I logged into the FTP and literally deleted everything off the server. I have a hunch this is why my server banner doesn't work any more.
I started the new 1.8 server and it's been 100% uptime so far! I am thrilled. However, this still bugs me:
On the server panel splash screen, my server shows as "offline", and:
The server banner reads as offline (although the server is up, running, healthy with 5 players online at this time)
and still more:
On the server control page, the server displays as offline, despite the correct resource usage and memory report.
My hunch is that in my complete wipe, I somehow erased a file or folder which is linked to my server banner/server control page? Anyone have any clues? Replies are much appreciated! thank you!
