Just saying that was the server help page so i technically was on the right thread... And i have pex and group manager. AND it would have been nice if you just helped ON MY POST and not making me go over here and waiting for other people. That would have been nice instead of locking my post...
Ugh. I keep getting an error when I try ./manuadd or any of those /manucommands in game on my bukkit server.
I pasted my essentials config in the Online YAML Parser and got this output:
ERROR:
while parsing a block collection
in "<unicode string>", line 1, column 1:
- just: write some
^
expected <block end>, but found '?'
in "<unicode string>", line 32, column 1:
ops-name-color: '5'
^
idk what's wrong, but here is the essentials config: http://pastebin.com/Mm4QdPFn

There are literally thousands of permissions topics in this section. We're putting them all here for a reason, it should have been posted here originally
essentials config right? or what did you need to look at? I made essentials config again: http://pastebin.com/KATPTfuc I made a new one just in case.
If you're having an issue with group manager it would either be the groups.yml or the globalgroups.yml most likely. Alternatively, you can post the error log using pastie/pastebin as well
I got this error in output from group manager config:

I can't find that.I think I had permission Ex and Group manager at the same time by mistake. I will check if that is the the cause of the problem, I deleted group manager.
well i tried using bpermissions instead of PEX and i got another error -.-

So, we have group-manager for our permissions, because it was easy enough to figure out. The other owner put in Permissions EX so that we could put in a skyblock plugin, but that didn't work out, so we tried to delete PEX, and now... the permissions.yml it created won't go away, and non-ops cannot use chat. How am I supposed to fix this?
NOTE: our group manager worked perfectly before the PEX issue came about.

Please use the proper format for support here, it's the least you can do for people doing this on their time
(That is, upload it to http://pastie.org/ so it doesn't loose its format)

Any help is appreciated! Thanks so much:]
Mind posting your permissions.yml via http://pastie.org/

You can still ask for help here too.
I tried your file right there on the parser, are you sure you're giving me the same one?

If you want, or you could post both files.
