Experience tells me that this forum is retarded and you won't get any help here, people only know how to copy and paste stuff from things that were fixed ages ago when people with brains still roamed this place.
Seriously, the topics with the most replies are 'I HAVE A PROLBEM !@!@!!@!' and it's always something with permissions or portforwarding. If you have real question here noone will answer.
I disagree. I feel like a lot of people get helped with problems here every day. Permissions issues have their own workshop where problems are constantly being fixed. There are over a dozen Tutorials for portforwarding in the tutorials/FAQ forum. It's true there are a lot of newbs but I think as a community we do alright with fixing what's broken.

For context, I was referencing the nearly twenty-or-so people that are "Support Gurus", which are members who have been brought on to make sure that topics are replied to.

They will have a "Support Guru" title, and most of the moderators in the Support Section as well.
Also to consider is real life responsibilities and associated stuff.
(I still want to figure out how to script cleaning and putting away the dishes, for an example)
I try to answer what I can, but my free time for things like this is limited, more so now than in the past, so I'm not able to post as often as I was previously, which I think may be the case for many others.

Former Support Guru and bukkit admin, master of the I-have-little-time-so-I-drive-by-post style.
Please don't PM me for help, PM's don't help the community at large as it's not publicly viewable.
Use pastie or pastebin for config files, I do not download them.
Well I have a question about server running but not a problem. We have some tests to run on servers and I want to know if this forum is the right place to post it? It is about the actual hardware not software.
Yes it is, some members do not understand the kinds of posts that are and aren't appropiate to the forums.

That's already answered within the mcforum rules:
