so for some weeks ago i started a home hosted server on my old mac, but in xmas i got a new mac so i decided to give away my old after backuping everything to my new mac but then i saw something bad my new machine didn't have enough java memory for 1 player! so i posted this topic...
So my question is... Is it possible to get more memory like enough for 8 players?
Please answer in the next hours i really need help
Well i'm not a mac guy but if it is a computer then you can always add more RAM or Hard Disc space if needed. I think that on an iMac you get to the RAM by some screws on the back. If it a laptop though I don't think you can because apple is stupid and makes things so they can't be opened.

RAM is Ram, there is no "Mac RAM/Windows RAM" just so you know
Bukkit requires anywhere from 80-95Mb of RAM per player in which case you can do: X RAM for server / 80Mb per player = Amount of players i can have
This is solely based off how much RAM you have, and not taking into account your upload speed.
